Achievements

NiYan was born in Hanzhong, Shaanxi province in China. She obtainedher B.Sc. degree in 2005 and Ph. D. degree in 2013 at ShaanxiNormal University, working with Professor Dr. Yu Fang onfunctional molecular gels. From 2010 to 2012, She was a visitingPh.D student in supramolecular chemistry group at GeorgetownUniversity, working with Professor Richard G. Weiss on emissivemolecular gels. From 2015, she is an assistant professor atChang’an University. Her interest was in functional moleculargels, especially fluorescent supramolecular gels. Since 2006, shehas published more than 20 research papers as the author and theco-auther, and has been named in several patents. Now her researchis focused on the fabricating optical sensor and smart materialsbased on the functional polymers. She is one of recipients of thefirst Awards for functional soft materials from Natural ScienceFoundation of Shaanxi Province.
