LecturerCHEN has put forward the theory and technology about themicrostructure evolution and mechanical properties of fictionwelded structural materials; Together with his co-worker, he hasclarified the bonding mechanism of Ti₂AlNb-basedand TiAl-based intermetallics by linear friction welding; He hasproposed the corrosion behavior of linear friction weldedTi₂AlNb-basedintermetallics. CHEN has published 12 academic papersand 1 national invention patent.
