On September 6, 2019, the fifth "Young Chang'an Scholars Forum" of Chang'an University was held in the School of Materials Science and Engineering of Chang'an University. Invited scholar Dr. Zhao Yang, Vice Dean Professor Wang Xingang, young teachers and graduate students participated in the forum, The meeting was chaired by Professor Wang Xingang, Vice President.
First of all, Vice President Wang Xingang delivered a welcoming speech, which warmly welcomed Dr. Zhao Yang's arrival on behalf of the school. Subsequently, Vice President Wang Xingang introduced the basic situation of Chang'an University and the school of Materials Science and Engineering from the aspects of its development history, discipline and specialty construction, faculty, academic research and personnel training. He hoped that the young scholars would join the school to help the construction of the “Double First-Class” of the school.
Dr. Zhao Yang, from Fudan University, made a brilliant academic report. Dr. Zhao Yang has made a series of original research results in the fields of flexible batteries and multi-functional energy storage devices. The attending teachers and graduates actively discussed and exchanged with Dr. Zhao Yang on the research of multi-functional and high-security flexible energy devices.
After the meeting, Vice President Wang Xingang led Dr. Zhao Yang, a young scholar, to visit the Center for Analysis and Testing of school of MSE.
