Achievements

Prof. YU has focused on theresearch of crystal growth, annealing and detector for  groupII-VI compound semiconductor materials and functional ceramics;Together with his co-worker, he has proposed some annealingtechnologies and principles of CdTe-based compound semiconductors;He has put forward the methods of observation and elimination ofinclusions, and discovered morphology evolution of inclusions inCdTe-based semiconductors;He has alsoexplored a technology to grow new type CdTe-based semiconductorcrystal and developed a method powders of functional ceramics;YU has been incharge of more than 10 foundation projects including NationalNatural Science Funding, published more than 30 academic papersand 3 works. And he is invited reviewer of internationalperiodicals such as CrystEngComm, Crystal Growth & Design,Journal of Luminescence and Journal of Crystal Growth, and so on.
